  1. Listen to Perry Como Dig You Later and fill in the Listening Exercise handout.
  2. Describe what was the song about.
  3. Describe what your feelings are after listening to the song.
  4. Write down at least five political issues and/or fundamentals that strike the deepest feelings and emotions within you.
  5. After you answered the three questions above share with your fellow classmates using the Discussion Board set up on the Graphic Communications SharePoint page. You must reply to at least three other students responses. Directions on how to log into SharePoint.
  6. Sketch four different thumbnail designs
  7. Select one thumbnail and expand upon it with a rough draft.
  8. Share your rough draft with a partner. Make sure to include information about typefaces, types of media, colors, graphic sources and the Graphic Design Principles.
  9. Using your partners critique design your Political Sign Mixed Media in Adobe Photoshop using the following layers
    1. Background layer: one of the following political signs Jim Web or George Allen or Marriage
    2. Stack the different media on separate layers (type, clip art, stencil, paint, etc.)
    3. Save your finished file as a .jpg and upload to the SharePoint Discussion: Critique
    4. In the Critique Discussion describe how you designed your mixed media, the use of the Graphic Design Principles and your expression of political issues.
    5. Reply to at least two other student designs
