The clinic is open daily while school is in session for the purpose of providing first aid
for school-related illness and injuries. It is neither equipped nor designed to care for
out-of-school injuries/illnesses, and it is not intended to take the place of parent
directed medical care.

Please do NOT send in any medications with your student (including prescription medications,
over-the-counter medications, cough drops, etc.). If your child requires medication during
the school day - there is a form which needs to be completed by a physician and signed by a
parent. Parents/Guardians must bring the medication to school. Students are NOT permitted
to carry medicine.

Here's a few guidelines to help you decide when it is best to keep your child home:
~ IF they have a fever of 100 degrees or more
~ IF they are vomiting or have diarrhea
~ IF they have an unidentified rash or skin condition
~ WITH specific conditions, such as head lice or scabies, until properly treated

Please keep the clinic updated with any health issues that you might have concerning
your child. We also ask that you keep current phone numbers on file with us. Please contact
us with any questions or concerns.
